Jump on a moliceiro and cross the river channels, watch the art nouveau houses and try ovos moles. From there you can visit the Farol da Barra and the colorful painted houses of Costa Nova. Visit the market and discover pristine beaches. Don’t leave us without having experienced this special place. The train from Ovar takes you to Aveiro in 20 minutes.

Cosy cafés, fancy beach bars, delicious ice cream parlors, shopping, supermarkets with local vegetables and fruit, bakeries, butchers, fish shops, ATMs and sparkling nightlife. In the summer artists play music, activities take place and local stalls sell delicious homemade sweets. It is all just a stone’s throw away.
In the Province Ovar everything lives around these 47 kms of water parallel to the sea. A network of canals and islands, its waters are home to flamingos and heaps of rare birds species. Take off to your safari with one of our Stand Up Paddle Tours or free bikes and pedal into the wild.
